well, i finally got more hours at work. yay money! a full set of my photos were put up on the wall of the studio yesterday, so i was excited. the frederick studio i worked at sucked dick, this one is so much nicer.
moved andrew into his new townhouse last weekend, it’s awesome!
other than that, nothing new lols.
im currently sitting in a chair at school (a soft, large chair) doing absolutely shit and listening to some girl rant about her sex life. over the course of the hour that i’ve sat here i know all about her court drama, how she is like sisters with her bestfriend, her ex boyfriend and how he probably, definitely, like totally still loves her. and now i’m writing about it while sitting across from her and we have never even made eye contact.
people are so self absorbed that they talk and talk and talk and don’t even realize the world spinning around them.
I met a genius on the train
today
about 6 years old,
he sat beside me
and as the train
ran down along the coast
we came to the ocean
and then he looked at me
and said,
it’s not pretty.

i’ve been thinking about how i’m to go about making a portfolio for my writing. i haven’t written in quite awhile and i really am itching to get back to it. most of you know that i’m studying to be a journalist, mainly a photojournalist; if you didn’t know that now you do.
anyways, the type of stories i like to write are feature stories. i find these the most interesting and colorful types of non-fiction. so i’ve decided to just write them as i please, not for any sort of publication just yet, just to do it for the extra practice. i want to combine them on a blog and figured i’d post every five stories i write.
so far the topics i’m going to cover are polyamory, military life, longboarding, hipsterism, and people who cosplay. i know people who will give good points of view for all of these, which is kind of feeding bias, but whatever i’m doing this for practice.
what topics would you guys read?
you’re welcome, i love the artwork.
people, check it out.
